Finally unpacked my new machine on Thursday afternoon and more visitors. Admired it as I passed through yesterday between visitors, phone calls and shopping, BUT TODAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY - I've threaded, even checked the manual and have now completed my first stitchery!
Here's the photo Sue and Razzy from FIS requested :)
And this is the first project!
Close ups of the stitchery - this is a Rosalie Quinlan design which I started at the Quilted Crow's Gathering last October.
I love the combination of the wool applique and the stitchery - this hanging will get its first outing on July 6 for our Material Girls Christmas in July at our place.

Fabulous .... love the woolly hats and scarves. You should email a picture to Rosie ... she'd be very impressed. I'm sure it will be much admired at Christmas in July. See you.
Oh Vicki! they do look nice and warm in their woolen beanies and scarves! Cathyx (PS..Im trying for a come back!)
I'd love to say I'll be thinking of all you Material Girls on July 6 but I probably won't be - I'll be having fun in Hong Kong where it will definitely NOT be winter!
