Catching up

What have I been doing for the last 9 or so days?  To tell the truth, I'm not really sure! Holidays do that to me when I am finally relaxing and one day blends into another. Yesterday Christine came over for a stitching day and she was very productive. I made a great omelette for lunch and knitted most of the time. After trawling the net, we worked out what I had to do to complete the red something I have been making for Dawn in London:

It's actually a red something, with a cable running through it.
Quite pretty - still can't guess???

Looks a completely different colour here - how amazing!
It's called Winding River Cowl - a cross between a scarf and a hat, which will come in handy in snowy old London!
I've mailed it off this afternoon together with a lovely black beanie - boy oh boy do the postal companies get good money out of us!

And to top off today, I had a visit from Baby Thomas with his mum Anna.
He happily took his new quilt home for it to be loved heaps.

Thomas looks gorgeous - and you've been a busy girl.

Love the Shawl idea - am sure she will be happy when she receives it.
