Once Lynda's birthday was over and we had arrived at Mulhouse, I was able to post photos of the secrets and secret sewing I had been doing before I left home.
Tis the season fabrics and gorgeous Australian overdyed threads.
Michèle and I bought matching background fabric in Colmar to do the stitching for this lovely little quilt. I also have the same thread but will have different coloured fabrics - hopefully from my stash :>
There should be a photograph here of the Loulou bag that I made for Amélie and the Birthday book I made for Lynda before I left - apparently the photos are on my home computer, can you believe that???????
What I did find though, were the photographs of the wonderful presents I received from Michèle and the Material Girls for my birthday, so here they are:
French ribbons/tapes, gorgeous charms, DMC threads - saw the factory where they are made in Mulhouse - all together in a very pretty hand stitched purse.
Birthday presents from Annie, Lyndy, Christine and Chris M |
Front of purse from Michèle. |
