Bonjour de Paris!!

Second attempt to publish this blog post! We are here in Paris, after travelling on Eurostar from London this morning. Weather is pleasant - yes, grey but no wind, no rain and around 14 degrees!Photos coming.

We are now in Burnhaupt-le-Haut with our friends for a few days. Travelled by TGV from Paris, arrived here at 0906 Saturday morning. Went to the Colmar Christmas Markets on Saturday night - the French - and the English - do such beautiful Christmas decoration. The streets, the trees - no leaves of course - the shop windows are decorated with lights. It looks like Wonderland wherever you go.

Not the best photo, but here is the idea!

Yesterday we went to Germany for the day!! Yes, we did! Our wonderful friends took us to Europe Park - it is enormous, with so much to see and do. Many European countries are represented there, with the buildings examples of the style of the country. Food served in that style too. Fantastic rides, spectacular shows too - you need to see it to believe it. The photos don't do it justice at all - we went on Euro-Tower, which ascends 75 m above the park itself. It was close to 2000 hrs, so dark of course. The view was spectacular - and even more surprising that I plucked up the courage and did it because I hate heights. Must be becoming very brave these days - that is going under the sea in the train, doing the London Eye and now this!
This Colloseum doubles as an hotel at the Park

One of the scenes from the Surp'Ice show that we saw.
